When should I feel the baby move?

Most first time moms will not feel their baby move until 20-24 weeks. You must first recognize what you are feeling and this takes a while. Fetal movement in the beginning is also influenced by the position of the placenta, anterior (in front of the baby) or posterior (behind the baby). As the baby gets bigger, you will be better able to feel your baby and know your baby’s pattern, e.g. move more in the morning vs. evening or after you eat, etc.
